I have been looking at some of our heater cores (I work parttime at Autozone) and was wondering about somehting. Are there any other cars that share our beloved Camaro's heater core? The core for the 70 Nova looks very much like the core I need for my 67. My leaking core is still in the car, so I cannot really do a side by side. The Nova core lists for 18.99, and is in stock. The Camaro core lists for 36.00, and must be ordered.

So, anyone know for sure.

I do not believe that will work. The 1967 & 1968 Camaro heater core is different than a 1969. I know they are different part #'s. I also don't think the 1970 Nova core will fit your 1967 Camaro. Since the price difference is negligible ($17.01) I would order the correct one.

The heater core for Non- A/C SBC Camaro's is the same from 1969-1981.

First of all,,,I would boycott any auto-store that didn't stock every part ever made for 1st gen Camaros! Oh wait, you work there! Never mind.;)

Craig, stay away from those heater cores. If you look on the side of the box, they are cheaply made in Mexico. I found a Modine heater core made in the good old US of A which fit perfectly and looks way better than the Mexican cores. Mexico makes good tamales, but nay on the heater cores.

PS. Carlos O' Kelly's has good tamales too!!!
