I thought you guy's/gal's might enjoy some pics..........

The car was very rough to say the least. The only panels I was able to save were the header, cowl and LH fender. The doors and RH fender came out of AZ and the roof came out of TX. Everything else is after market.

The car was hit in the front and had to be pulled. The previous owner tried to install the roof himself but, it was his first attempt at body work and it was way off. Basicly I had to fit the roof, both quarters, doors, trunk lid and tail pan all at the same time without a correct starting point. Luckily I have a friend that restores a ton of 69's so I was able to get all the measurements off of the cars he had in his shop.

Anyway here it is.......

Nothing I can really say. My vocabulary, while extraordinary(J/K :)), cannot do your work justice.

I wish you were my brother in law.
I have four sisters. Are you married? Maybe I could get rid of one of my other brother in laws who can't restore camaros like that.

Where do you live? I can't find any restoration/body guys here in the Northern VA, DC, MD, DE area that will actually DO some work. Tell me that you're within 2 hours of me and I'll keep you busy for a LONG time! ;)

I understand that all too well..in fact it's what motivated me to do it myself. Heck, after the first quarter was laying on the garage floor I got real brave and forgot all about the lack of willing body shops in our area. No greater satisfaction than knowing you did it yourself. The only problem I have with DIY is in my case..I'm my biggest critic. Oh well..I've certianly accumulated some cool tools along the way ;)

69Pace...I'd be VERY happy to do it myself and I know I'm very capable but my other issue in this area is trying to find garage space where I can do the work. I can't do it in my garage at home because my wife would would kill me due to the fumes, noise and smell. :( Maybe I need to come over to YOUR side of PG county!

I'm within 2 hours if you own an F-16....LOL. It's funny you mention not being able to find a shop on the east coast willing to do resto work because, I have friend who is doing a resto on a 70 LS6 Chevelle that was shipped to him from MD. I should really get over there and take some pics because he has 3 LS6 chevelle's in his shop right now ( one 17,000 mile convert ) a 69 Yenko Camaro and a 69 Indy pace car convert.

I usually like to have 2 cars in the shop at all times. I'm doing a 66 Impala and a 69 GTO right now. After that I have a 67 GTO convert, a 72 RS , 69 Charger and a 69 GTO convert. But the 67 and 69 GTO's have both backed out on me once already so I'm not holding my breath.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you're willing to ship the car. I'm always looking for the work :D

Where are you from? I get the impression you are on the west coast, but that corn looks NOTHING like the corn out here. The cornfileds across the street are at least 8 feet tall. (always interested in vintage corn)
