Hello, just wondering if this was good spot for my power booster vacume line, Royce, here is the pic. i was PMing you about, i was wondering if most here that run blowers use this spot? or what do you use on your power booster vacume line? where do you pull it from? i have had it connected here and it runs fine this way, but this is my second booster in one month, so i either have bad luck on a defective booster pod, i have it on its adapter so it should be fine..but was wondering where you guys pull from ..thanks for any help on this..Chris

Chris,
Is that where it's been connected or where you moved the connection to? If that's where it's been connected, then you are ok. I thought you had it connected to the intake manifold. The port in the picture is the correct place. The intake manifold is not. If you want to connect it to the intake manifold you will need a check valve in the line. This is only allow vacuum to the booster but, no boost (pressure). I forgot to mention the check valve to you in my PM's. I don't run power brakes so I haven't had to deal with brake vacuum.

I am willing to say the folks at Weiand or Blower Drive Service have answered your question for others many times and would be a great source of info.

You had the vacuum hose at the right place to begin with.

Yeah it will be fine there.
Although I used Edelbrock carbs on this one, it is like yours. It works ok.

I use the electric vacuum pump that is for the cadillac diesel for my power brakes. If anyone needs the part number let me know. It is cheaper than the ones from the brake suppliers.
