Most repro parts houses. Rick's, NPD, Classic Industries, Year One, Ground Up, etc. are printED, not sure on electronically. They want your money !

not sure they know what they are doing when they say this:

"We provide manuals on CD-Rom only ( no paper manuals) and at this time we do not have a MAC version."
(my bold added)

how hard would this be to make in a PDF format?

I'm as computer-savvy as anyone, but it's more convenient for me to use the actual manuals rather than setting up a laptop close to where I'm working on my cars; laptop slides or gets knocked on the floor once, you're out $1000. :(

My guess is they know exactly what they are doing and their product isn't Mac supported just as they state. I don't know what format they publish their CD's in. Maybe to protect their product from infringment they use a format that their data is dependant on and it's only available on their CD. In other words keeping folks from dropping .pdf files of their docs all over the internet...

Let's try to refrain from vendor bashing please...
