Hi,

I recently got a vintage air surefit system for my 68 Camaro, had a/c from the factory.

The plate supplied to block of the blower motor hole is steped and the smaller portion is about 5.1 inches in diameter though the hole in my firewall is just under 4.5 inches in diameter. Is the plate just supposed to press against the fire wall rather than going into the hole a little bit?

Also, since it was an a/c car the instructions call for cutting a 3.5" hole in my firewall and using the round ABS cover with 4 holes for the hoses. I've heard of running those through the blower motor hole. Any ideas or pics of how people routed the lines on the inside?

Was doing some reaseard and stumbled on some posts mentioning that vintage air is coming out with a newer kit for the camaro in a few months. Makes me sort of regret purchasing one now.

Thanks

Here is a picture of my firewall with Vintage Air. It's a 68 A/C car also. The hoses are a very tight bend coming out the firewall.
