This is applied over primer, then I reprime over the sealer then top coat. 3M also sells a clear seam sealer if you're trying to seal it without painting, can't remember the part #. ifishaholic Nov 26th, 03, 07:50 PM Will be using SEM self leveling seam seem sealer on mine this comming Monday! TIA smile.gif HwyStarJoe Nov 27th, 03, 04:34 AM The 3M 8505 sets too hard and cracks too easily in my opinion. It's not very pliable when set. I'm replacing my gutter seal with 3M 8500 instead.
