Hey again,

I have double hump heads and a soild flat tapped 252/260 @ 50 and .536/.554 lift cam. Its a SB 355 with vic. jr., 750 holly and 12.3 comprssion. My question is what is the biggest cam i can run with these heads. Thanks Andy

keep the cam you have and buy aftermarket heads, Pro Topline heads on ebay are cheap enuff and they are twice the head a dbl hump is.

Do you have to keep these heads? Have a Desktop Dyno? what are you trying to do? Sound or performance?

wiskeesour,

For now, I need to keep these heads, Yes, i have a desktop dyno. Its says 435 h.p. @ 6000 and 433 tq @ 5000 . I am currently running 11.50 in my 2750 lbs. camaro and would like to get to the 10.99 E.T. mark without spraying it. Thanks

wow. I would say your about topped out with these heads. are the flowed and ported?
what about a gear change?
I guess you could do a larger cam...but you would have to retard it a little to get it to perform in the operating range of the heads....which might help or hurt. type it(diff cam choices) in ur dyno and retard it and see what happens....
