View Full Version : Rain Gutter Trim Installation

Just bought some rain gutter chrome molding for my 69 at the Pleasanton GG show.. It's repo stuff from CORVEX (Taiwan). Looks like good stuff.

Installation looks pretty straightforward; just snaps on, it looks like. BUT as always, I am sure there are some tips to make it go smoother. Looks like I will have to trim a bit here and there due to some filler in the gutter area, but nothing big.

So does anyone have any tips for a first-timer? I don't want to screw up the paint or the moldings.

Also got the quater panel louvre trim so I'll be measuring REAL close before drilling holes.

Any input is appreciated! http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif

Thanks, Chris. I guess some paint scratching under the molding is unavoidable.
These seem to be pretty tight. The felt on the pliers is a great idea.
Thanks again.
