Been a while but gonna be better,faster,and stronger :D

XE SR CompCam (over 600" lift w/ 1.6 roller rockers)
Heads re-worked and shaved (about 10.6:1 now)

Couple hours in the garage without interuption and it went from a bare block to a short block :D

Doug, just noticing your valve spring retainer against the valve spring in the photo. Are retainers too small? Notice the springs larger than retainer or either not enuff inner step support from the retainer to spring.

They're just making it, and the guy who did the heads said they're fine and backs up his work.

P.S. these springs are huge lol :D

Not yet, timing chain only finger tight to get some pushrod length checks. Lucky buddy had a set of 7.950's and they're just to the inside of center (intake side). :D can't wait.
