Knowing that the cam is ground with 4 degrees of advance but installed straight up would you select 4 degrees advanced from the drop down menu or leave it at 0?I reread the user manual but this was not addressed.Thanks.:)

4 degrees of ground in advance would net 4 degrees of advanced if the cam is installed straight up.

I have noticed when you plug in your cam card numbers, Desktop tells you this is built in at straight up position.

Yes, unless you tell it a specific setting vs CC's 110/106.
Like an Isky at 108/108 instead.
Or a BB Erson at 111/111........

I wouldnt worry about what the advance does on DD dyno, even on a real dyno the power may drop a bit, but it will run faster with the cams advanced at the track. More advance will help an engine accelerate better in the mid range = better et most of the time.
