what Big Block cars used the 6223 crankshaft? all i can find is the years 65-69

From Ed Staffel's book, "6223" was used in 366 Big Truck and 396 engines.

And from HPBooks, "How to Hotrod Big-Block Chevy's", it should be used in engines such as the '65 -'67, 325hp/396 and '66 - '69, 350 and 360hp/396's.

Hope's this help's b/c I figure if you post the letters that are at the end of the long VIN number string that is usually on the deck pad that is right above the pass. side top water pump bolt, we can decode an engine if it is still a virgin.

Anybody else, please feel free to comment further b/c ALL I'm doing is parroting back what I read about this...

My 66 L-72 came with a 6223 crossdrilled crank. I have seen them in just about every 3.76 stroke BB ever made.
