I have a 1969 Z/28, and it is a pre x-code car. I wanted to know what the part numbers on the 1968 Z/28 emblems are, as well as what the 1969 Z/28 emblem part numbers are, and are they different? Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

These are for a 69. Not sure if a 68 is the same
Fender = GM#3957935 casting #394968-2
Rear = 8745869 or 8701333 not sure why 2 listings. Most common is the 333
Grill = 3958642

This is the only 68 Z emblem number I found. Not sure what emblem it is = 3947011

Thanks, I had found some numbers, but as you said, I was finding two numbers for the tail panel emblem. Mine is the first number, which I am guessing is less common because it was a leftover from 68? Anyways, thanks for your help.

68Z had no markings other than 302 fender emblems until around March 1968, and no the 302 fender emblems aren't the same part number as the mid year 69 hood 302 emblem. After March 68 the 68Z had Z/28 emblems on each fender instead of 302 emblems. These are not the same as the 69 fender emblem. They have a bend in the / where the 68 body line crease runs. Also 68 never had a grille or tail panel emblem. Some people incorrectly install these from a 69, but they were never on any 68Z.
