My horespower numbers seem OK, but my torque numbers seem to be off.
Any input?

Any input? onovakind67 Jan 3rd, 07, 05:53 PM What makes you think so? AH32 Jan 3rd, 07, 07:01 PM Well, in comparing builds that are posted and run on the desktop dyno program. Plus, from feedback from different guys on the board. onovakind67 Jan 3rd, 07, 07:17 PM Torque and horsepower are mathematically connected by a constant. You can't have one of them right and the other one wrong unless you calculate wrong. zdld17 Jan 3rd, 07, 07:23 PM I have two differant programs. Motion Desktop 2000 and DynoSim Desktop dyno. The Motion appears generic, does not get into details of head flow @ cam lift etc thus producing differant numbers from DynoSim. I just got the latter and tend to believe the program with more detailed input. So I tend to agree that numbers will be off some between programs. AH32 Jan 3rd, 07, 07:36 PM On my program I can control the following cam profile: duration at .050 lift at cam and valve lsa centerline rocker ratio Heads I can use port dimensions and flow numbers if I have them. zdld17 Jan 3rd, 07, 07:52 PM On my program I can control the following cam profile: duration at .050 lift at cam and valve lsa centerline rocker ratio Heads I can use port dimensions and flow numbers if I have them. Same here with DynoSim. This program is made by Comp . fotoboy Jan 4th, 07, 03:15 PM Mr Gasket desktop dyno= POS Trust me, dont waste you $$ |
