My car is a 396ci car with a turbo 350 trans, 2500 stall convertor (i think) with a mild shift kit. I have my car in park with the cars idle perfect, when i shift into D (or any gear besides Neutral) the cars idle drops to where the call will actually stall.

I have checked the cars vacumm, which is ample, replaced all hoses, and also the modulator on the back of the trans. I have also changed the fluid (not the filter).

Anybody have any idea what's going on here?

timing I think is your problem.

yup, not enuogh initial timing.

3rd the initial timing and a bit lean on the idle circuit when loaded in gear.
