Thinking about converting my 4 wheel drum brakes to front power disc brakes. How much vacuum pressure do you need to operate the power brake booster?

Thirteen and greater, e.g., 13 to 20 in./Hg.

If you're not achieving 13 inches at idle, you could switch to manual with disks. Also,..this probably belongs in the 'brakes' section.
