Thanks, Dave dawg Jan 7th, 07, 11:34 AM loose tie rods or worn out get them fixed before using the car or else you can have a accident. or take car to a front end shop and let them diagnose the problem. either way you gotta fix it Steptoe Jan 7th, 07, 11:56 AM Assuming bushes, bearings, ball joints (within factory spec), tie rods, have no play ..u have what can be caused on some old british vintage cars with large diameter wheels... If your caster/camber/wheel alignment is way out it can cause this...epec if the 'king pin' angle has been changed due to bad/cut springs. Get it all checked aout at a specialist wheel alignment shop...and talk to the guy, ask questions...the computer is only as good as the operator...too many operators are full of 5h1t. |
