dawg Jan 8th, 07, 04:05 PM anyone?
BPOS Jan 8th, 07, 05:03 PM Looks to me like you got the "wrong stuff" lines - did they get bent in shipping?
dawg Jan 8th, 07, 05:07 PM no I picked them up at ground up and they are marked for a 69 camaro?
rear went in with no problems as well as the rear end line.
the right front could use a bit of tweaking but the left front looks like its facing the wrong way.
ohcscott Jan 8th, 07, 07:15 PM I have a few pics I pilfered off Ebay and off this and other sites.

Not the greatest pic, but all I have right now. I dont know which particular kit that is, it was already there by the time I got it.

VI009DZ Jan 9th, 07, 07:28 AM Dave....is that writing on the firewall you posted something documented that came on the car? Dunno as I've ever seen anything like it; kinda remids me of the "Z" on ebay a while back with DZ chalked on the drivers cylinder head.
tgifford5 Jan 9th, 07, 08:16 AM I have just replaced my brake hardlines with Right Stuff with a combo valve. I am in process of replacing the rear lines. I would take a picture for you but it states that I cannot post attachments. How do I do that? Mine fit fine. Your front lines look a little funny from what I can remember. Also DAWG I have a question. Did you have a one piece rear hardline from the valve back to the hose? That's what I ordered, but it actually came as two pieces.
dawg Jan 9th, 07, 08:32 AM mine came in 2 pieces aswell
it is kinda hard to install a 1 piece line.
you should be able to post pics
just click on the above icon with the mountain and sun and place your pic address in there.

judging from this proportioning valve my lines are pretty close

Yes, they were all there and documented for that particular car. I dont make up any markings, just what I find
Of course, they were originally under the black paint :p

dawg Jan 13th, 07, 10:45 AM ok lines are in.
now when i went to connect the booster to the brake pedal there is only one hole in the pedal versus two?
I know on power brakes you use the upper hole .
but i only have one hole so now what?
ohcscott Jan 13th, 07, 04:23 PM Power with an angled booster would use lower hole if two holes.
The pushrod should be in line with the angle of the master cylinder, no matter the brakes. Here is a pic of the angled booster with a properly lined hole.
