My '67 SS/RS Convertible, with 2300 miles on the frame off restoration, just got rearended today, by some moron (F-150). The rear panel got pushed in around the right side tailight. The bumper was not hit, and 90% of the paint is intact. Since this is my baby, and I am a newcomer to Atlanta, can anyone let me know THE BEST body place to have this taken care of. I want this done the right way, not get a high bid to jack up the insurance claim, and run to MAACO for a $1.99 paint job-no offense, you MAACO owners. Any help would be appreciated.

Ouch - Atlanta traffic stinks and I hate being tailgated while in my 68 ragtop.

Athough I haven't used either, I will be picking one shortly to replace a rear floor panel. The two that I heard are good are:

I foerget the name of this body shop buy it's next door to Peachtree Classics or Peachtree Auto in Roswell/Alpharetta. They do alot with classics.

Precision Collision Alpharetta 770-619-0108

Or, try calling YearOne in Braselton and ask if they know who might be the best.

Good Luck.

Thanks Bluesdog, I already contacted the shop in Cumming that did the Year One '69 Camaro LS-1 magazine cover car. Hopefully, they can steer me right. Thanks.

I was actually going to recommend that but I didn't have time to locate the mag.

Can you post who they recommend and ask about small block mech. while you are at it?
