I would like to replace my 10 bolt with a 12 bolt. My question is that my 69 SS is a convertible with mono leafs. Did all convertibles have mono leafs and what are the pros and cons of mono versus multi leaf springs. Thanks....

Not all convertibles had mono leafs. I own a 68 vert and 2 69 verts, all with multi leaf springs. Although my 67 vert does have mono leafs. I'm not sure which is the better set-up.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but didn't all 69 SS's come with 12-bolts ?
I found this at CRG. Note: GM documentation indicates that 1969 SS-350s and LM1s with automatic transmissions may have received a 10-bolt rear axle. So far only SS-350 cars with powerglides have been observed with 10 bolt axles. Please contact us if you have a car with this drivetrain.
