I have a 67 firebird convertible. I am looking for some seat options that would give me a 3-point seat belt and better neak support. My 06 trailblazer has the sholder belt in the seat. Is there any aftermarket seats with the belt in the seat?

Or, what is the smallest bucket seats GM made with the integrated harness?

thanks

Integrated belts are not recommended without a lot more reinforcement under the seat. The oem seat mounts were not meant to handle the stress.

I have 2001 Camaro seats in my 69 Camaro. The seats from a 98-2002 Trans Am would look good as well. I believe they might be a little wider. As far as a 3 point belt try http://www.morrisclassicconcepts.com

502prostreet - thanks.

The problem with morrisclassic is there belts will not work on a convertible.

Any other thoughts

The cool thing about '98-'02 Camaro seats is Year One makes the mounting brackets and '69 style houndstooth seat covers for them if you want to keep the look of the '69.

OK guys help please, I would like to get rid of the original seats in my 68 they are in GREAT shape, and replace them with some cool seats that would coincide with the future I have for my car. Anyone have any ideas where I can get some comfortable seats? I plan on this car being a corner carver. Thanks in advance.....

I have been looking at the Procar by Scat seats for my 68. They are reasonably priced, look decent, and have adapters for the seats to fit my car. http://www.procarbyscat.com/

I have the procar seats in my 67 and they fit, and feel great. I had to trim one part of their bracket about a 1/16 of an inch to make it fit how I wanted. Everyone who has sat in them or seen them like them. I'm using the Morris belts with them, it's a nice combo.

I went the late model route. My seats came out of a 97 (30th Anny.) Camaro. You can fine these seats pretty cheap. I got the pair with tracks and all of the plastic covers still intact for $125.00 shipped. They were in excellent condition. I covered them myself in less than an hour. I special ordered the covers from Year One. The buttons are optional. they come loose in the bag with the covers. I like the look, so I had to go with them. They didn't offer any kind of custom tracks to swap the seats into a 1969 3 years ago when I did mine. So, mine had to be custom fabbed. You can find lots of these seats on the net, eBay or a junkyard. My car is a Pro Street car so I wasn't so much looking for holding me in the seat in the twisties as much as comfort. Way more comfortable that the stock seats.

PS: Don't make fun of the steering wheel. That was just one I had in there to move the car around. I have a black Vette wheel in there now.

I've got C6 Vette seats I'm putting in and was planning on using Morris 3-point belts attached to the integrated seat belt connectors (like they do on the new Vettes). Two of the points would attach to the seat while the third attaches to the roof. Is this a bad idea? Would I be better off attaching the two points to the floor instead of the seat?
