I put QA1 coil overs on the front and am very happy with those. I love having the ability to adjust the ride height and I am looking for the same in the rear.
Several years ago, I added a heavy stereo setup to the trunk on my 67. The first trip out, I realized I needed air shocks to make sure the tires didn't rub. Needless to say, I don't like the air shocks. I think I saw a conversion somewhere for QA1 coil overs on the rear. Is anyone using this setup?

if you use the search function you will see that most people agree that leaf springs work really well

well, never mind, I guess you did use the search function to bring up both these old threads

if you really want coil overs you need a 3 or 4 link or something like it, which normally require surgery or they compromise the handling, so I hear

I say just get a good set of leafs
