Nice looking car. I'd ask him for a pic of the trim tag and a closer pic of the bill of sale/sticker to make sure it it a real deal rsss. I'm not near an expert by any means, but I think it should have been born with the console cluster if it is a true rsss. The antenna is also in the front?? It is a very nice car and should go well above the 20k marker, even if it is not a real rally/super sport.........I'd wait for the '67 experts to chime in. :beers:

Virtually identical to my car except the interior color. Looks like the real deal to me. Do your due diligence (ie. pics of underside, under trunk mat, cowl tag, engine VIN stampings, paperwork, then you or friend check out in person). $20-25K would be fair for both buyer and seller imo. Rear axle should be 12-bolt with rhs bracket for traction bar but probably won't have the traction bar because of the Powerglide. You don't see a lot of black unmolested rs/ss cars.

That looks like a very nice car. Very correct under the hood. Front antenna is fine. Console gauges were an option in 1967, even for RS/SS cars. I would definately like to see a pic of the trim tag to confirm the color combination and I would want to know about previous bodywork/panel replacement. As long as the paperwork is authentic, it looks like a winner!

If its the real deal and in the condition that it appears to be in i would say 20-25k would be a better deal for the buyer than the seller. Id be pretty happy if i could pick it up for that. Numbers matching RS/SS cars are few and far between. Although... the powerglide probably holds the value down a bit...

It'd be nice if they had posted a pic of the trim tag.

right I will have to post a pic of the tag when I get it from him before I buy the car. I am aware of the options and what to look I was thinking that $25k to $28k would be about my high side. Don't know if it could be bought for that though. Thanks guys.

Well did you win this auction? If it was what it claimed someone got a bargain, hope it was you?
