Hi Everyone,
I bought a new set of bushing sway bar kit from energy suspension. I went to install them on my 68 Camaro and the metall brackets that hold the rubber bushings in are too long "the brackets". The hit the shock mount flang. What do I do did they sell me the wrong parts. I dont want to cut or grind then down.

Are you talking about these?

I had to trim the ones that came with my Addco sway bar because they interfered. You can see an in-process and final product in the photo.

mbrown,
hang on 24 hours, if you can before you cut. had the same problem. if you have the original brackets, energy sus. makes a bushing to fit those. i'll get the number and post it. the kit comes with bushing #5002, if memory serves me correctly, i just can't remember the replacememt bushing #.

marcus,
just got in...snowing up here in kingman...2-3" and still falling!
looks like snowbowl is gonna open this week http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_7_16.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZN)
anyway, the energy suspension bushing that will fit the OEM sway bar bracket is their part #3.5202. it does come with additional brackets however the bushings went right into my original brackets. if you go to their website or catalog, the pic shown for this item number is not application specific.
c-ya!
