Newbie here (long time viewer who recently joined). Seriously considering the purchase of a 67 convertible with manual steering. Have owned other classic Chevy cars with manual steering and would want to change this one to power. Not highly concerned with originality, as the car already has a non-original engine & trans as well as other mods.

- Can anyone provide a link to vendors who offer a complete kit?

- Anyone know of Camaro salvage yards where I could buy original parts (to restore / refurbish myself)?

- Does anyone who has performed this swap have any hints, tips, suggestions, etc.?

Thanks in advance!

It's fairly simple to add. There's a list and some other links in this thread.

Also, some good reading at www.pozziracing.com, under 1st gen suspension there are steering pages.

If you follow the links in that thread far enough, you'll come across a link to a tech article by Brian Lewis on how to put a "high effort fast ratio" steering box from a late 80's IROC / WS6 in our cars. Highly recommended.
