I know a bunch of you have put these in.First off I didn't need a jack to get them in.I pushed the lower a-arm up by hand and was able to get the nuts on the ball joints then tightened them up and if I try hard enough I can still spin the spring.I triple checked and the springs are correctly in there pockets. Is this normal? When the weight of the car is on them should I be OK.Car occasionally sees the track and would hate to see one come out on a launch.
Thanks,Scott

Lowering springs would always be shorter unless you were using a real soft setup. If you're worried about them coming unseated at the track use a travel limiter in your suspension.

I know from personal experience that I had to have a 215# person sit on my subframe so I could get enough threads on the upper ball joint to start the nut. I think I managed to get 3 threads showing with him sitting on the frame. You may have worn out lower control arms, but don`t quote me on it.

Are the bushings on your upper and lower control arms worn? Are the bolts securing your upper control arms tight?
