I agree with KZ, not the easiest sale. I just found a super clean frame in a early nova in a local yard for $100. But......If someone needs it, and you got it. Then its a desirable piece.

I had to pay a couple hundred for mine. They are valuable, the problem is they aren't an item that is needed very often and that is why they are hard to sell, it's not the price. Like Bob said, if you need one, then you'll pay what you have to.

I paid $100 ea for my 2 extras. I figured buy them when I don't need them instead of later when you really need it.:D

If the frame is complete with all the parts and rebuildable links ect, they can bring as much as $300 but that is about the most I have seen.

FYI 67 frames are highly desirable. 1 year only. I sold one about 6 months age for $250.bare.

What is different about them?

...they're all interchangeable, ...however there are some subtle differences. Early '67's for example don't have the inboard 'cutout' forward of the crossmember...

Only early 67s didn't have the 3" holes in the bumper horns on the frame. Somewhere around Dec. they changed. See the pics in this page:

Be careful when you buy these. I say that because I have 3 of them at my shop. All came out of cars I have. All 3 are flawed. 1 has a crack in it with body mounts tearing off, at a glance, it looks fine. Another was in a wreck and the pass. side framerail is rolled in, so slight you can't see it, but you won't get the motor mount bolts in it. another one is so sprung, it took a come-along to pull the frame rails together enough to put tranny x-member in it.

Just looking at them, they seem allright. I've been asked if i'd sell some by local guy's but I won't. I couldn't do that to someone.

It's my hope I can build an engine/trans station out of one so I can fire motors up for break-in or whatever. I've got enough room at my shop that I could use them for storing motor/trans assemblies if I put wheels on them to roll them around.

67 Frame rails have the lower control arm bumpers attached to the frame rail and use a different lower control arm than 68's and 69's as they have the bumper attached to the lower control arm.
