Would these be strong enough for every day use? What do you guys think?

"Currently the Billet Aluminum Cross Shafts are only recommended for Drag racing applications or for off road use."

Not DOT Approved!!

That answered your question to a "T", imho!!

I don't know. Speedtech is known for some very quality stuff. Just because they aren't rated yet, doesn't mean they aren't good.

I would hate to see you find out the hard way.
street driving with potholes etc. can be pretty demanding.
why go with the aluminum ones anyhow?
youll only save 2 to 3 pounds anyhow?

The weight doesn't make much of a difference to me. They just look very cool. Plain steel gets ugly fast. If someone made these in stainless I would get them..

I think they do sell them in SS somewhere??

Have you been over to Larry C's great Pro-Touring site and looked around??

Fatmans;
Hieldt's;
G/W; and others I think have custom made one's...
