Can I suggest putting in a stroked small block instead?

why not just swap an lt1 or ls1?
you have to cut into the windshield and cowl to fit a carb and aftermarket efi is pricey

just my .02

I remember seeing that about the bbc instal somewhere. I think i would just redo the lt1 and maybe up the cubes with a stroker and put a charger on it. Super chevy put a 383 together with a procharger and got i think like 780 hp. JMO
