Not that I know of, why??

I replaced mine with one that has steel screen wire reinforced rubber washer in it and I'm here to say that it is as tough as nails!!

The darn screen wires are sharp like little needles and hard as a steel belted tire belt!!

I had to take it's circumference to my bench grinder to remove the darn little wires that stuck out b/c they stuck me!!!

That said, I have a new one that I got off the "HELP" wall display at one of our local parts stores and it is just rubber and really soft, thats why I didn't use it, it's still in the package after I opened it up to look at it good.... I just wasted 8 to 10 bucks is all... (I should try to take it back??

Ford Motor Company used flexible couplings with urethane discs back in the late 70s and 80s. GM to my knowledge never used urethane discs in their flexible couplings.

If you look at the mid 70s urethane bumper vettes you will notice that literally none of them have their original bumpers. The stuff crumbles like an erasure when it gets old. Also a steering column retainer part on all T&T columns was made of urethane. You cannot take one of the old T&T columns apart without the retainer breaking into pieces. Without the retainer, your horn blows continuously. The part is still available from dealers. But try to get one on the weekend when you discover the problem with the original retainer. (Ask me how I know!)

I just don't think that urethane is a proper material to be used to steer your car.
