I just purchased a 67 convertible. It has all the markings of an ss. The vin says it came with a v8. How do I find out if it's a real ss.

Easiest way is to post all the numbers and letters, in order, off the cowl tag (metal tag on firewall near brake booster/master cylinder), and one of us can decode it for you.
