Hey Jim...is that from an A/C car?

Looks like an A/C box.

I believe you are right, it is an a/c box, the verticle opening would match up to the verticle hole I have in my a/c car. There is also a switch on the top of the box which I believe triggers the system to fire up the a/c.

Great! Thanks for the pics. Is there much room around the heater box to put say an ignition box or alarm module? I wanted to move my Jacobs coil/ignition box to that area and get it outta the engine bay to make it look better.
