Try Gary at classic car horns I believe he has rebuildable cores. Thats who rebuilt minehttp://www,classiccarhorns.com Lost in the 60's Jan 18th, 07, 06:49 AM You need 9000477 & 9000214 and I think 68 was one year only. I fixed the link so it works from here. Pacecarjeff Jan 18th, 07, 07:25 AM All the GM horns from that era were the same look. The different part numbers were because of the many bracket configurations. If you need a set of good sounding, correct looking horns, I have many sets. Just bend the brackets so they look right. $50 a pair delivered. All original unresrored - with passenger part numbers. Gary is a Great guy, and does amazing work, but he charges $200+ each horn. Here was an old auction: old auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140057005305) Lost in the 60's Jan 18th, 07, 07:54 AM I have many sets. Before that it was $199 for the pair. Lost in the 60's Jan 18th, 07, 06:49 PM His site shows he is running a special at $169.00 for the pair. Before that it was $199 for the pair. That's if you send him YOUR horns to restore. For those of us that didn't get horns with our cars, they are much higher. 68rs327conv Jan 18th, 07, 07:14 PM Look at ebay pair of 68 horns Item 220072212615 68greg Jan 19th, 07, 04:27 AM thanks guys, I too live in Minn. it's that time of year to get the car ready again for next summer |
