I am converting my 1969 Camaro from manual to power steering. Thanks to this forum, I have a pretty good list of the parts I need. I am, however, having some trouble finding out where to get the pump bracket and pump pulley. I am hoping that someone here can help. I plan on using the PS-6000 pump from RockAuto, but I couldn't seem to find the pulley or bracket on their site. My car has the original 350/255 engine.

You will end up at a reproduction supplier for the brackets and the pulley.

Make sure the pump comes with the flow control valve and outlet fitting. Many rebuilt pumps require you to transfer them from your "old" pump.

I converted my '68 to power steering Spring '06. I purchased all of the parts from Classic Industries. They have all you need to complete a stock conversion. There are about 15 parts to change over from the expensive like the sector or pump to the inexpensive like a couple of special application bolts. I talked with a techie in their tech department and he was very helpful. I have spent enough $ at Classic over the years that they offer a 20% discount usually in the spring. Still cost about $600 or a little less. If $ is not an object and retaining stock appearance is not important there is a steering sector called the Delphi 600 series usually advertised in the car mags. which costs about $600 by itself but is supposed to give you a new car power steering feel. website is www.remyracingshop.com. Good luck and careful planning is important.

Now I'm worried. I'm doing this same thing using a saginaw. I see you mention flow control valve. What is that?
I had to buy the outlet fitting. I also had to buy a fitting to attach hose to p/s box inlet.
Its takes 11/16" wrench. Its 5/8" for the outlet.
I have a Spectre p/s pump pulley that is billet aluminum if someone is interested. I bought it to fit a Saginaw though.

Here is a second gen ps valve assy, it's basically the same as a first gen except for the outlet fitting.
From left to right, - there should be an outlet fitting, flow control valve, then coil spring, all installed as in the photo.
