OK guys. Not sure where to ask so I will start here. I am sure our good moderators will move it if need be.

My question is, a 1968 Impala SS 427 Convertable, 385HP/427, 4-Speed. Only a 3 owner car. All original, fairly clean. Needs paint, slight rust hole fixed on front fender behind wheel, and a few tears repaired on interior.

Anyone have a ballpark figure what this car might go for? I am a Camaro guy, so not real up on Impalas. I do know there were only 1800 427 Covertables made, with only a fraction of them being 4-Speeds.

Just looking for any insight some of you may have. Thanks as always.

I would think somewhere around 8k to 10k range, or a little more depending on the car and seller

Try asking on Team Impala the sister board as they could probably give you a better guestimate.

In my mind they only made 2 Impala's 63 and 64 so I wouldn't know or care.:D

They are selling a red 68 ss 427 convertible at Barrett Jackson sometime today (or maybe tomorrow) I did see it in the list of cars to sell.

Is that one of the cars you guess the sale price and you win a prize?
