Can someone please tell me where I can get an exact reproduction throttle rod for a 69 SS 350. I got one from Rick's but that was nothing like the original (threads not long enough and wrong bend in it).

Where can I get one and does someone have a pic of an original.

hmmm and the ricks part wont work? Thats surprising. Try calling the boys at Ricks. From my exp. they are very helpfull and will get you fixed up.

I had them on the phone for about 30 minutes last week. Here are some of the problems with there throttle rod.

Not threaded far enough down the rod
The swivel mounts to the carb, the other end has a washer brazed on to the bent end and the end wont fit through the grommet and nylon insert far enough to get the pin through the hole.
Appears to be bent in the wrong direction.I do not have an original to compare anything to but I know the one from Rick's is incorrect from looking at pictures of originals.

Any other suggestions, I want to keep it as close to stock as possible..

If you get a pic of an orig try to post it. I have a box full of misc parts i'll look for you. if i have a referance it would be helpfull. I know i have one from my z but it will be different for the holly.

This thing is driving me nuts. I am on my second rod from two different supply houses.

Can someone with an original rod send me a pic and measure from the curved end (attaches to throttle arm) to where the threads start.
