Thanks for the recap!
I patiently waited for lot #1570, 67 Pacer. Glued to the TV. They get read to roll the 67 Pacer onto the block and they break to commercial. You know, the Shelby commercial, " So...you couldn't find a car in America....blah...blah...blah" They come back from commercial and the 67 Pacer is gone!
This happened several times yesterday on Camaro's I had patiently waited for. Break to commercial when a Camaro was getting ready to roll on the block. Hum......Ford Is a major sponsor at BJ. Ford is promoting the new Shelby. Edsel Ford & Carroll Shelby were on the block rubbing elbows with Craig Jackson. General Motors is getting ready to reintroduce the 2009 Camaro. Does anyone else here see the conspiracy?

1564.1 -wow. Compare the add photos to what sold at the auction. Since this car is a lot like mine ( except JL-8 and X ram!), I watched it closely. Looks like it got rear bumper guards added, the grill painted, and the rear stripes sorted out. Surely looked good at auction regardless of the photos.

According to the Barrett-Jackson website it's "Fathom blue".

I see they fixed the stripes from when the website pics were taken. Very nice car, hood doesn't look like it fits too well, but I imagine that's likely the way it came when it was new. It also looks like it's got the EXACT same problem with the lower grille molding not fitting the grill in the center that my '68 has. I REALLY wanted to see that one go across the block, but unfortunately I had a bunch of stuff to do on Saturday and missed it.

The hood on my 68SS fits the same as this one. I know these cars didn't fit together perfectly when new, but surely they looked better than that. I just figured mine had been poorly repaired at some point. Mike:beers:

Bruce, did you get a look at the trim tag on the 68 Yenko?
I know some of the other 68 Yenko's had special paint - (dash) trim tags so I am curious if that one is also.

that SS stripe isn't correct is it? I'm sure this one (http://www.camaro327.com/shows/GM2003/P6130023.JPG) is original. It should stop and start ~1" from the wheel well and the yenko's if too fat at the start of the horizontal run.

Hmm... I think you might be right - at least it's different in the pics on the Barrett-Jackson website than it is in the pics Bruce posted. It was quite a bit wider at the start of the horizontal run before, at least it appears that way to me... still looks like it might go too close to the wheel well, though, but it's hard to tell from the angle of the pic.
