If you know me you know my old car, well I sold it and have tried to contact the person that bought it because I have located the protecto plate. I can supply the VIN or if anybody knows how to run a check, Im sure the person would want it!!! I cant locate them, I believe they most likely flipped it. Also I have found a 68 302 MO motor I will post info later just in case someone is missing it. thanks Todd

That VIN isnt right. 69 Camaro's at Norwood started at 124379N500001.
The 8th digit in that VIN is a 1 and should be either a 5,6 or 7.

My car does not have the POP with it, but I believe my engine to be original, although no VIN stamp is on the block. My engine stamp is 0303DZ. Just wondering if that car has a similar date being that close to my car's VIN. Just want to see if another car could have 02D build date but a first week of March engine build date. Thanks in advance for any info you could possibly give me.

I don't have the original DZ, but my 02D has an original BU0310 differential. Many 02D cars have early March parts. I am not the only one to post this.

Yes, your engine date looks OK. We talked about this awhile back. :)

Im in San Antonio and yes my tranny and rear end were orignal to the car and the date codes on them are tranny P8T2B rear end BU0305G2E

I bought the car from KS from Todd S., my name is Todd W sold it to R. Scott in Houston. The person was going to pull the 302 and put a 500 HP motor in it.
It was a frame off resto with the frame being powder coated. etc etc.

Thanks again Kurt, I really appreciate your input on here and for helping me previously as you stated. The reason I would like for the date on this particular POP to be posted or PM'ed to me is just for documentation due to the fact that this is the closest VIN to my car that I have heard of on here. I have posted my car for sale on here a couple of times before and also on ebay, and I always get the same answer from folks that are interested in my car, even though not one person has come to look for themselves at any stampings or cast dates. They always say "No way that is the original engine, it has to be before the end of February". Since I do not have any paperwork with my car, the only "proof" I have is actual stampings that are original and I use postings from TC from folks such as yourself to verify that there were exceptions to the rule. If someone has a POP that verifies that their Z had the same situation, I absolutely copy this info and put it with all my receipts and pics as further verification. I figure it beats nothing. Again, thanks for all your input as well as others, it helps out guys like me more than you probably know.
