We have all heard of ghost flames and ghost stripes, but I just thought (I am sure other people have too) of "ghosting" painted emblems intto the car. For example the "Camaro-by chevrolet" emblem could be removed, and instead have painted that into the car in its same spot! I think that would be so cool. And with the engine emblems, have like 302, 327, 350, and 396 ghosted in too on the side of the car. I tihnk these jobs are very meticulus especiall because of the small words and precise painting, but it can be done. I think I wouldnt do the engine specs on the front fender, because I am likely to do engine swaps. However for anyone else looking for a cool finishing touch, this is it. I tihnk I am going to have ghosted in a big bowtie on my trunk, or maybe one of those lil people who pisses on fords there instead. HAHA the possibilities are endless, yet kinda permanent.

Has anyone seen that use of paint before?

Ya, I've done the ghost flames and stripes before (not on my car though). Actually I'm planing to paint on the fender emblems on my car as well (airbrush, not ghost). The ghost is usually done with a pearl added to either clear base, or clear coat. There are many pearls to choose from, but you can do it with just about anything (I've used Harlequin as a ghost effect to).
