I am in the process of trying to order new inner rocker for my 69 hoardtop. Any help on where you guy purchased them from, Quality of product and fitment like original. Goodmark has 1 listed but pic dosn't seem to show the front lip that lays over toeboard/firewall and is spotwelded like original in my car is. Any help on this before I make the order.

I installed a new inner on the drivers side of my 67' Firebird. There are subtle differences between the original and the replacement. From what I seen of the goodmark ones they don't have the front portion. This is the hardest part to replace and is usually not the part that is rusted out. I bought the dynacorn ones. The fit is decent. The only issue I have had is to slightly tweak them after tacking in the front portion so that they fit against the outer rocker.

One other note is that all the inners I have looked at are in different places. They vary maybe +/- 1/8" or more in some places on the mounting location.

The one's I just got are goodmark and they do include that little lip. They are for a 69 hard top and the fit seems to be pretty good.

Thank you both for your replies, I have been leaning torwards the goodmark pannel just wasn't sure of that little lip. I purchased a inner & outer rocker from ames performance about 2 years ago. Unfortunatly I did not look at the pannels right away. The inner I got from them is totaly wrong, it is just a straight piece of metal. I don't know if it happens to fit the A body or what. Unfortunatly to much time has passed and I no longer can find reciept. I just hate to waste more money without doing a little research this time. Stephen

Sorry to Hijack, but how are the convertible inner rockers for first gen? They do sell them right?

Thanks!

We purchased our inner and outer rockers from Restoration World and were happy with the fit.

Thanks for the tip on restoration worlds inner rocker. I checked out the pics on there site and I like how theres come with the kick pannel brace as mine is rusted out down inside the inner and outer rocker and would make a much easier repair.

Do they make just the inner rockers for convertibles (different from coupes)? I know I can get the WHOLE rocker assembly, but I may just use the inner on one side of my 68.
