hey all , im throwing this question out there again , i bought repro rocker panel moulding , does anyone know how it gets installed , thanks chris:confused:

Attach the channel to the body first then carefully "snap" the moulding into place starting at the top till the bottom "snaps" in. I hope this helps

does the channel go flat onto the body I[ or makes a closed loop against the rocker I] thanks:confused:

The channel only goes on one way, flat against the rocker and front fenders. Once it's screwed into place, the molding will fit on the upper lip and snap into place on the lower lip. Then there are 2 screws at each end of the molding to finish it off.

Be very careful when "snapping" the repo moldings into place. A little too much "oomph" and it will dent very easily.

On the GM moldings, you can give them a solid pop with the palm of your hand. Not so with the repos.
