I am getting to take my baby overseas and have run out of time working on my 69RS. Can you all give me some contacts on known shops that do good work? I am going to need some mechanical and some paint/body....Thanks in advance!

Superior Auto Body on rt. 3 in Crofton has a hot rod shop associated with it. The shop is located in Denton. I know they do good work, but I'm not sure what the lead time is to get a car in there.

Thanks Doug. I will look them up and give 'em a call. I dropped Jerry MacNeish a line so maybe I will hear from him too. I hate having this happen in the middle of a quick resto (going on three years or so of ??????) but then you all know how that goes......

John, maybe you are in the service and not sure where overseas is at but I just returned from working in Italy for 4 years. I left my cars here! Shipping cars can be a nightmare and things do happen. And in Europe parking is a nightmare in most countries as it is limited and usually very tight parking spaces. Just some thoughts as you could have the car waiting for you in great shape and ready to go when you return. But whatever you choose hope all goes well.

Chick,
Appreciate the concern and have been in Germany before for a few years. In the end maybe I will just get it together enough to put in storage, but I doubt it. I really want to drive! But then, we all do don't we......
