anybody try this yet they sell a kit in summit wondering how well it works? if it 's worth the trouble and money think it would get rid of some of the clutter under the hood and make some welcome room in there, this would be on 96lt1

I wouldn't think of putting a carb on a 4th gen that is already set up and running. The reason for the carb kit is for the guy that pulls an LT1 out of a 4th gen that has been totaled and stripped of the computer and fuel injection and is droping it in another car. Or for the guy wanting the retro apearence in say a 1st gen but is using an LT1 as a transplant.
You would be hard pressed to unload the fuel injection and install a carb and get the same performance...
