I have the pop for my RS with a few other "original" items that came with the car, including the engine. I'll post pics of the motor once I verify the vin number matches the car. Here are some pics of those "original" items:

to add to a collection of POPs so Fake ones can be ID's since they are not stamping fake ones like the cowl tags

POP codes are all known, and fake ones have been being made for years. You can even get them aged to perfection, along with everything else.

Actually yes, The fake POP's are harder to pick out then the trim tags.
The "makers" use original address-o-graph machines to stamp them.

Not all the machines were exactlty the same, so a good collection of POP's can help - Maybe :clonk:

I'd had been watching the auction, but I'm not paying $57 for one!
There are differences between the original and repop POP's. But you need a lense to tell for sure.....
