He is a guy that lives in Jackson, TN (9 southpointe dr) and his shop is at 42 N. Madison, Humboldt, TN 38343.
He sells fake Z28 tags on ebay for 1500-3000, and has at least three different ebay id's, that list MS, TN and now Arkansas.
His biggest fraud though, is with "rare" parts cars, where he spins a story of a wrecked musclecar that has been sitting for years, with the original #match block. He sells you the car "part" then ships you a fake VIN tag, a fake CONVIN stamped into a ratty piece of metal, and a fake trim tag, then he restamps a block with the approp VIN. You get all this strapped to pallet.
He just ran an auction on ebay for a LS6 "part" car. It ran up to 16,200 before he "stopped" the auction and probably sold to the top three or four bidders. Each one not knowing about the others, and because it's off ebay, he retains his 100% pos feedback, which only fools the next guy.
So in that one auction, I estimate that he probably scammed somewhere in the $45,000-$65,000 range!

I still can't figure out why anyone would spend that much money on a trim tag that won't mach the vin tag date.:noway:
I think they can have one made with the original build date of their car. I guess this helps us to spot the made up cars.
