Do you have belt envy? What are you going to do when somebody brings out a 3" belt system?

 set-up
I had a good friend years ago that had a simular set-up on his 29-A street rod.
Only problem he had was the front alt. bearing failing every couple months ...
I rebuilt his alt., after he exchanged it @5~6 times and they told him he couldn't bring anymore back, and used HD Timken truck bearings and they didn't fail again - that I ever heard ...

Does it give a nice "hummmmm" while running, like his used to ???

Seems like that set-up would be noisy.

Its a subtle whine, enough to where people hear it and turn around and look to see what that is.....

Which I think is extremely cool.

:D

It was Dawg69 that turned me onto this setup. When I seen it here on TC, I had to have it. So it was my wife's Xmas present to me. The guy that machines these was very helpful, I was able to call him on the phone and he helped me through a few issues I had.

Everything fit up very well, very precise. The guy that machines them is a Chevy guy.
