I dont know if I have posted this in the right section but here goes. I have a original DZ block with a vin # on it and I am wondering if there is a way to find its home. The casting # is 3932386 with a casting date of September 30th 1968. The Engine production code on the deck is V1028DZ. The VIN # Reads 19L507740. I plan on using this block in a Z28 build if I cant find its proper home. Thanks

The folks in TAG can tell you if they know of the owner of that VIN number, who would probably love to have the engine back. Some of the TAG gurus stop in here on occasion too but maybe we can get Bill to push this into TAG for you. :)

Nothing on that VIN in the database, but the date look correct for that VIN.
When you get a chance, could I get a picture of the engine pad?
