I have an 01 coupe that has a bad fuel pump. I am getting quotes of around $350 for a new one,if I do the work. I was wondering if I can just put an electric in line one, leaving the bad pump in the tank.

However, check www.summitracing.com as they have aftermarket in-tank pumps, then labor to change must be added. If there is an aftermarket external pump, it would cost just as much as an OE pump.
