why does it tell me i have no member groups i can join when i try to join the current events group. i have been signed on here since i think aug. and have became a paying member. please let me know if i am doing something wrong. thanks

I have been to that link and done all it says.when i click on user cp i have nothing about joining groups under misc. when i use his short cut in the post. it says
There are currently no public usergroups available for you to join.
something is not right. thanks for your replies though.

You were right Ken, something was wrong with the settings. You should be able to join it now.

We had a problem with a group of guys awhile ago so all the join requests were moderated. That was dropped so that anyone could join but a checkbox was overlooked.

hey AL, there must still be something wrong. i went to join and it did show up in the misc area. i clicked to join. then it came up with a box for me to put in why i wanted to join. i put in new paying member wanted to see what it was like and then i clicked join again. then it came up with a box saying this does not look like a public forum. it is like it does not show me being a member or something. thanks for any help
