Question is what clutch should I get, The car will not be used for any type of racing, except when really getting on it on the street. Horsepower will be anywhere from 350-415. Any help will be great. Thanks, Jerod

My name is Don and I have had my 1967 Camaro convertible since March of 1988. The car is a mid May production and I suspect it was built as one of the "pacesetter" specials that went out to dealers. I suspect that because it is white with blue interior, loaded with the trim options (console, bumble bee paint stripe, deluxe bumper guards, etc.) but had the 250 straight six and powerglide! Everybody say OOHHHH, feel the power! That engine promptly blew apart 2 months after buying the car which allowed me to begin the process of putting in a 327. It is great seeing all the fellow Camaro owners documenting their restoration processes and the hurdles they overcome. It is inspiring me to get my project done and moving after languishing for so long. There is a 396 and Turbo 400 waiting to be installed after I get the body painted. That is where my project is at present, hope to put up some pictures and chit chat with others. Hi all!

I have a 350 .040 over with stock crank rods and cast pistons. The piston are low compression pistons i think maybe (8.1 with 76cc head and 8.9 with 64 cc head). I plan on adding double hump heads(461) roller rockes, comp xe268 cam, air gap intake, and 750 carb. I want to add more power what is a good compression ratio to run? I want to bump up the compression with maybe a different head gasket without replacing pistons. Does this setup sound good and what kind of poer to expect? On a budget so i want to keep the price down. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Any idea what this could be, and why it has now started when it wasnt there before?

At present i can see my altenator being positioned on the passenger side in front of the cylinder head.
The other option is to install lower on the same side - i am sorting out the details of my electric water pump lower feed - once this is done i can look closely at what room there is to position the altenator in this space.
Any pics or details would be very helpful!
