    Doug,
Since we last talked....found a place to get the Camaro done....Called CJ Customs here in Glen Burnie . The question I have is about this site...I see that they have changed things around and I'm wondering how you get notifications of private messages....there use to be an icon when you logged in telling you that you had a msg....if that is still the case....how do I turn it on?

It's always a sad day when we have to put our babies to bed for the winter, I envy the folks that get to drive them year round. I store my car in my garage so I leave the tires on in case it needs to be moved but raising it up and taking them off is a good idea if you can. I always change the oil in the spring before I take it out on the road as far as the gas tank I've always heard its best to fill the tank and add Stabil to the gas. I remove the battery and bring it inside and give it a good charge before spring. don't forget a quality car cover just in case...

    Hey Doug,

This is Wayne (RumRunner) from the forums. I have a few questions that you might be able to help me with. My car is stored at a storage lot in Joppatowne (yourspace). I am looking to get a head start on the winter storage (getting stuff together). This is my first classic car and I don't want to mess it up. With the winters we have here in MD what do you suggest? I have new 10-30 Lucas oil with high zinc and a new Wix filter, which I need another (got wet with last heavy rain when basement flooded). Should I change the oil and filter before I put her to bed and what about jack stands and removing the wheels? Fuel tank full or empty. Needless to say I have a lot of questions and with you being in the same climate I was hoping to get some pointers. Sorry about the long message, I have so many questions and want to get my ducks in a row. Any info. that you can pass on to me would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank You,
    Wayne
